KTV

Overview

nVent RAYCHEM KTV heating cables are parallel, self-regulating trace heating cables used for frost protection and process temperature maintenance of pipes and vessels subjected to steam cleaning.

These heating cables can withstand maintain temperatures up to 150°C (302ºF) with intermittent short term exposures up to 215°C (420ºF).

  • Approved for use in hazardous locations
  • Approved by DNV for use on ships and mobile off shore units
  • Multiple overlaps capability with no risk of overheating
  • Steam cleaning capabilities for high exposure temperature applications
  • Uniform pipe due to self regulating effect
  • Cut to length capability simplifies designs for complex piping
  • Reduced installation time with state-of-the-art connection kits
