BTV

Overview

Self-regulating nVent RAYCHEM BTV trace-heating cables, mostly used for frost protection of piping -not subjected to steam cleaning, continuous exposure temperature up to +65°C (150ºF) , intermittent exposure temperature up to +85°C (185ºF)

  • Unconditional T6 temperature classification simplifies designs in hazardous locations
  • Multiple overlaps capability with no risk of overheating
  • Uniformed pipe temperatures resulting from compensation for local heat loss and voltage variations due to self regulating effect
  • Cut to length capability simplifies designs for complex piping
  • Reduced installation time due to state-of-the-art connection kits
  • The self-regulating principle will ensure that the system runs efficiently, saving energy and thereby operational costs
